Something bright & floral for the kitchen, picnics, every day needs

It's been a little while since I posted something new on our online store. I made these tea towels a few weeks ago and they have been a hit at the markets. I think it's nice to have something bright & floral in the kitchen... and you know I can't get enough of tangerine and mustard, let alone our dahlia design! I hope your still liking them x

Elkhorns new home - Moochinside

I am pretty chuffed our first store to stock Elkhorn is Moochinside at Hardys Bay, Central Coast. It is a beautiful store owned by Margie(Mooch) & hubby Pete, located in what I think is one of the most idyllic & picturesque places on the Central Coast. I popped in today and took a few photos, featuring Elkhorn and other gorgeous goodies. I got a bit caught up on the details and forgot to stand back and take photos of the whole store and the views out from their relaxing outdoor area... next time! I have long been a fan of Moochinside and find myself there every other week. There is always something new and wonderful, often coast inspired which I love!

Quirky reinventions

Wow! I love these chairs. They are all so individual & quirky, packed with so much character, I  wouldn't be surprised if they could talk to. I am sure they would have plenty to say.
Designed by Leslie Oschmann in collaboration with Little Owl from Swarm Gallery, Rochester NY. The point of the designs were to make people stop and think about everyday objects... which I think they certainly achieved. They have provided me with plenty of inspiration and given me a new perspective on some old chairs I found recently.

The Makers

Further my obsession with Brooklyn NY. Photographer Jennifer Causey has created this beautiful website The Makers, a photographic journal of Brooklyn artisans. Take a moment to be lost in the world of the florist, the bakers, the mixologist, the printer, the jeweler, the perfumer and the food stylist. Simply inspiring.  Found via Lena Corwin the printer's blog.
